     As you can see, it bears striking similarities to the RIM devices which at the time dominated the market.  With Blackberry fast losing relevance, Apple is now setting the pace, and influencing designs.   1. Are you guys kidding me? “Copy Cats”? The iphone was NOT the first touch screen device or pda. When it came out it was the BEST of them but it wasn’t the FIRST so claiming others copy cat what “already was” as an argument for the iphone is pure bias if you ask me. Iphone was NOT the first of it’s kind, it simply just the first to do it on that level, and while I give kudos to apple for that, they need to stop whining and acting like they actually STARTED the smart phone/pda era because while DID make it better, they didn’t actually start it.
